INPUT SERVICES:

The Input Services of the society are aimed at helping its members increase their productivity and also meant to create a pool of commonly utilized equipment and machinery that not many members can buy on their own. Apart from credit, the input supply services cover services such as

Supply of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, sprayers, pumpsets dusters, accessories, pipelines, electrical motors , seedlings of orchards, poultry feed and medicines, diesel, etc.

Technical services provided to farmers through agricultural officers of the society.

Provision of expensive and seasonally used agricultural machinery like silt removing cranes, threshers, chaff cutters, tractors, rigs. This has recently being stopped because most of the members have acquired the same under loans)

The society supplies input serivces to members and non members and most of these items are purchased by the society from the manufacturers and sold to members. However, the society also produces some inputs, for instance it produces quality seeds. The input services of the society are ably backed by trained staff who give technical advice to members and help in the introduction of new agricultural practices, etc in the society's hinterland.
